Review by hotel critic
The location was peaceful and scenic, with plenty of outdoor seating to enjoy the surrounding nature. the use of the swimming pool, play areas, and BBQs at the site added to the overall experience. the proximity to the river Esk allowed for lovely walks, and the nearby supermarkets made it convenient for any necessities. The house itself was modern and clean, with all the necessary facilities such as a washing machine, Wi-Fi, and a well-equipped kitchen. the owner was very helpful and accommodating, ensuring a comfortable stay for me and my family. the child-friendly features such as window locks and secured blind cords were a thoughtful touch. Overall, Captain Cooks Haven provided a good balance of affordability and luxury. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway in Whitby, whether for a weekend or a longer stay.
